| As an early leader in the women's health movement, the Emma Goldman Clinic is pleased to see many traditional health care providers adjusting their health care services to address the multifacited health care needs of women. We believe we played a critical role in bringing the awareness of these needs into more institutional medical settings. We also believe there is still work to be done. Women's health needs are expanding and evolving as our awareness increases. At Emma, rather than issue prepackaged chronologically dictated care for women, we listen to the knowledge each woman carries about her health, and work with her to support her own well-being. |
