Clients Rights

As women, we know that all women are capable of understanding and evaluating information about their own bodies and health. We place women at the center of decision-making for their health care, and promote client rights through all of our services.

This includes the right to:

  • Total information about medical diagnosis, procedures, and possible complications
  • Information about medications and their possible side effects
  • Read and copy all medical records
  • Confidentiality
  • Have a patient advocate

In short, every woman has the right to become an informed participant in her own health care by having all questions answered in language she can understand.
