I'm a volunteer for Iowa City Hospice. If you have any inclination at all
toward being a hospice volunteer, give it a try.
I lost my mother-in-law to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
(ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease). I maintain links to ALS resources in her
memory.
I was a member of the Folies du Tous, an acting troupe that performed in Ames,
Iowa in the 70s.
I've been to a couple of residential programs at the Monroe Institute, and I've
used several of their
products. I can't say enough good things about the Institute and their
programs and products.
I've been taking classical, eightfold yoga (ashtanga yoga or raja yoga) instruction from the Classical Yoga Center here. My instructors were trained at the of Mumbai, India. Yoga is great!
